We traveled from NC. and just happened apon this place. It was so cozy and comfortable. The staff was so welcoming and attentive, they make you feel like you are having dinner with some friends at their home. Bartenders were great with conversations, the hostess was super sweet and knowledgeable. The food portions were generous and flavors were authentic. We truly enjoyed the entire experience! We loved it so much, we even purchased some of their merchandise.

The best food we had in the area! Like we were in NOLA!! Our server, Carson, was darling! We got gator bites, duck fries, captain’s platter, etouffee and the beignets! Perfection!!!

I was back in the area so this meant a dinner at LoLA. And wow, just WOW. We didn't have a reservation and the Thursday dinner crowd was arriving. We opted to sit on the patio in the shade. I had the Gumbo Ya Ya and a side of jambalaya. The Gumbo was some of the best I've had and I seek out cajun when traveling. The jam was good but not as next level as the Gumbo. It was perfect. My wife had shrimp over grits. She said it was great too. Some heat, but that's a plus. Our waitress was great, quick w/ refills and checked in us often. I always fear being forgotten on a patio, but that was not the case. I highly recommend LoLA and look forward to my next visit.

The food here is fantastic. Best fried pickles I've ever had, hands down. The etouffee was also delicious. I would happily recommend this place to anyone who loves New Orleans food, you won't be disappointed!

We came here after driving by Saltwater Cowboys which was PACKED and are so glad we did! The food, service and atmosphere were impeccable! We would recommend everyone to eat here! It was a pretty busy and we had a party of 7 but only waited about 10 minutes for a table! I Ordered the Etouffee and it was a SOLID 10/10! Will definitely be back!

We were on a little day trip and wanted some seafood. We found this little gem. Captain Matt's Hurricane drink was very good (and very strong ) For starters, the duck fries were absolutely amazing. We never imagined the combination of ingredients would have been that good, but we didn't stop eating until it was all gone! Husband order the fried shrimp basket and I got a shrimp po'boy. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned and cooked. It was so good. Portions were generous.

Once again LoLa did not disappoint! My family and I love this place and us being New Orleans natives we definitely know New Orleans cuisine! Thank you for always making us feel like we are back home! If you want authentic New Orleans cuisine, you need to eat at LoLa!

Absolutely loved our experience at LoLA in Mt. Pleasant, SC! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere had a warm and welcoming vibe with a touch of that signature New Orleans flair. But what really stood out—besides the incredible food—was the amazing staff. Every team member we encountered was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely seemed to love what they do. Our server was attentive without being intrusive and had great recommendations for both drinks and entrees. Now let’s talk about the food—spectacular doesn’t even begin to cover it. We started with the crawfish Mac N' Cheese (a must!), and they it was perfect. The jambalaya was bold, hearty, and loaded with authentic Cajun spices. My friend had the flounder and couldn’t stop raving about the buttery texture and seasoning. Even the sides were impressive—everything tasted fresh and house-made. LoLA nails it on all fronts: service, flavor, and ambiance. If you’re in Mt. Pleasant and craving authentic Louisiana cuisine with top-tier service, this place should be at the top of your list.
